Our Team

Mike worked as a handgun instructor at Front Sight Firearms Academy in Nevada where, as a student, he earned Distinguished Graduate in Defensive Handgun, Practical Rifle, Tactical Shotgun, and Rifle Marksmanship. He has a bachelor's in Political Science and a master's in Christian Theology. Mike is competitive shooter and Range Officer with the USPSA. He is certified to teach First Aid/CPR/AED and Wilderness and Remote First Aid through the American Red Cross. Mike is a certified instructor with Stop The Bleed. He is a Sabre Red certified instructor for pepper spray. Mike is a certified Hunter Education Instructor for the CA Department of Fish and Wildlife and a Certified Firearms Instructor with the CA Department of Justice. He served in the US Army as a paratrooper and a medic.
