Hateful 8 Pistol Drill

The Hateful 8 Pistol Drill was created by Bill Blowers. You take eight shots from 8 yards at an NRA B8 target in eight seconds. The drill starts with your handgun in a holster. The gun is loaded, including one in the chamber. You have two additional magazines on your support side, each magazine has two rounds in it. On the tone, you draw your firearm and take four shots at the B8 target. At slide lock, you make an emergency reload and take two additional shots. At your second slide lock you do a second emergency reload and make two final shots. The drill forces you to have a fast straw, an accurate shot and be proficient at emergency reloads.
