Trigger reset is all about trigger discipline. The trigger reset point on every gun is slightly different. You can discover where the trigger reset is on your gun with live fire at the range or dry fire at home. If you are going to do this at home remove every magazine and round from the room. Rack the slide back, take the slack out of the trigger, and the point to which the trigger stops, before it discharges, is the trigger reset point. Now, pull the trigger and pin it back to the back of the trigger guard. Cycle the slide and slowly release the trigger until you feel and hear a click. Developing good trigger reset discipline will help you stay on target and on trigger. This will help you put more accurate and more frequent shots down range faster.
