If you have a California CCW, you cannot have any alcohol in your system while you are carrying a gun. You cannot be in an establishment which serves alcohol for consumption on site if you are carrying your firearm. This includes bars, restaurants which serve alcohol, wine tasting, etc. If you were carrying your firearm with your CCW, you can go into a liquor store or grocery store or alcohol is sold and even purchase alcohol for consumption at a later time.
