Does size matter...in recoil?

The weight and length of a gun has a direct correlation to the felt recoil of the shooter. The more barrel length in front of the round, the more energy is dissipated. The greater the weight of the gun the more the energy of the round is absorbed. A larger, longer and heavier gun the less recoil will be felt by the shooter. The smaller, shorter and lighter the gun the more the recoil is felt by the shooter.
