There are two primary reasons you shouldn’t modify your everyday carry or your concealed weapons firearm. 1) don’t reduce the liability of a gun for which you plan to use to save your life. The engineers who work for the manufacturers have guaranteed that this firearm works. Don’t change that. 2) Don’t give the prosecution and the jury bad things to think about. By altering the safety or look of your everyday carry firearm, you are giving the prosecution a club which they can hit you with. Modifying safeties or putting cute slogans or graphics on your gun show that you are something less than a serious defender of your life or family.
