Should you dump all your rounds into an ammo can?

If you dump all of your ammunition into an ammo can make sure you limit what goes into that ammo can. Only put the same caliber in one ammo can. Only put ammunition from the same manufacturer into an ammo can. And only put ammunition from the same lot number into an ammo can. Some guns are finicky. They love ammo from one manufacturer and hate ammo from another manufacturer. If you start getting a higher frequency of malfunctions, and you have dumped all your various ammo into the same ammo can, you have no way of determining if the problem with the malfunctions is your gun or the ammunition. Feel free to dump your ammo into an ammo can if you limit it by caliber, manufacturer, and lot number. That will help you decipher if a malfunction problem is one type of ammo or another.
