When you take a friend to the shooting range, provide them with lots of information ahead of time. Provide them with good quality eye and ear protection. Stress safety. Let them start with a low caliber, simple to operate gun. Give them all the ins and outs. Don’t start them with drills that are too difficult or guns that are not right for a beginner don’t discourage them, encourage them. The more you can take a friend to the range the more we are going to expand the second amendment community.
