Should you carry a tourniquet or a spare magazine? If you had limited space and could only carry one additional item, you should consider carrying a tourniquet. Statistically, you are more likely to need a tourniquet than you are to need a handgun. We are not saying, don’t carry a handgun. Be prepared for everything. If you can carry both a backup magazine for your handgun and a tourniquet.
